This project proposes a new house in a small tapered piece of land to the side of our clients house in Dulwich. A decorative and contextually respectful, brick clad, Cross laminated timber structure would rest on slender supports over a glass box creating a sense of suspension of the heavy materials. A basement with light wells would then contain further family and sleeping spaces.
